Peoples Educational Society, Bhimavaram was established in the Year 1991, to cater to the Educational needs of West and East Godavari Districts of Andhra Pradesh by philanthrophic people who served the society in various capacities since decades.

Dr. C.S.N. Degree College was sponsored by Peoples Educational Society, Bhimavaram in the year 1994 and is one of the prestigious Institutions catering to the educational needs of these areas.  The society had also started Dr. C.S.N. E.M School, Dr. C.S.N. Junior College in the year 1992.  Later when the Junior College students reached graduation studies, the degree college was started. When the degree students reached post graduation studies P.G. Courses in M.Sc., Microbiology, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analatical Chemistry, Computer Science, M.A. English and Social work were started. Later A.I.C.T.E. courses M.C.A., M.B.A. and B-Pharmacy courses were started.
The site:
The site for the proposed institution is selected in a place earmarked for college purpose in the Municipality master plan of Bhimavaram.  The site is very near to the Bus station, Railway station and National highway 214. Since the land is earmarked for college use proposes, problems for permissions for construction of the building did not arise.
Academic values:
Thirst for knowledge, research, development and work culture is planned and implemented.  The students are the raw materials with tremendous potential of human minds which can be carved and trained with academics skills and human values.

Well known pediatrician in West Godavari district and a social worker.  He has served  the society through Indian Medical Association and Indian Academy of Pediatrics  by constructing of buildings and running free clinic, polio clinic and AIDS awareness and control programs. Served as president, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, AP State and executive member at the national level. Served as secretary and correspondent and vice president of local colleges previously

Scope of the College vis-a-vis the Industrial Scenario and Educational Facilities already available in the State & in this Institute:
The present demand regarding employment in the existing Industries and newly establishing industry is increasing heavily.  In this institution 9 P.G. Courses are offered. Employment oriented training required like communication skills, soft skills and management skills is given along with regular curriculum. Enough practical knowledge in Computer programming is also taken care off. College is organizing campus interviews for the selection of the students studying in the college.
